The farm is nestled in the folds of the Sierra Nevada foothills near Nevada City, California. Little Boy Flowers was started by Angie Tomey, as an offshoot of her family's vegetable farm- Mountain Bounty Farm. We grow countless varieties of flowers and foliage on 1.5 acres in and around 15 acres of vegetables. Our relatively mild winters and long, hot summers allow us to grow a wide range of annual and perennial flowers from anemones to sweet peas to dahlias. All of our flowers are grown using ecologically sensitive farming methods though we choose not to be certified organic.

From early spring bulbs to the late fall mums,  we grow as many flowers as we can practically fit into our fields. We specialize in growing unusual varieties of flowers and foliage to add character and uniqueness to our design work. Our flower fields are managed using organically approved techniques including  the application of compost and other natural amendments, cover cropping and crop rotation.
